Argument/Claim
| Term | Definition |

| Ethos | Emphasizes the speaker's credibility and authority. Examples: celebrity endorsements, titles, professions, and personal experience |
| Pathos | Appeals to the audience's emotions. Examples: personal story, powerful image, or sad videos. |
| Logos | Appeals to the audiences logic or reason. Examples: data, historical event, facts, test results, and personal experience. |
| Claim | The author's main point, a statement he or she believed and trusted. |
| Credibility | The author is able to be believed and trusted. |
| Reliable evidence | Information or data that is trustworthy, accurate, and consistent, and can be verified through reputable sources. |
| Counterclaim | The opposite viewpoint of the authors claim. |
| Rebuttal | when the authors responds directly to the Counterclaim. |
| Argument | When the authors wants to convince you of their position. |
| Relevant Evidence | What the author uses to support their claim. |
