Algebra Terms
| Question | Answer |

| Variables | A letter that represents a unknown value (varies); can use any letter. |
| Constant | A term without a variable; numbers. |
| Coefficient | The number part of a term with variables. |
| Term | A single number or a variable, or numbers and variables multiplied together. terms are usually separated by addition signs and subtraction signs. |
| Like Terms | Two or more terms with the same variable or exponent. |
| Algebraic expressions | Have at least one variable and one operation. |
| Sum | The answer to a Addition problem. |
| Difference | The answer to a Subtraction problem. |
| Product | The answer to a Multiplication problem. |
| Quotient | The answer to a Division problem. |
| Is than/from | reverse the order. |

| Associative Property | The order in which numbers added or multiplied does not change the answer. |
| Commutative Property | The way in which numbers are grouped when added or multiplied does not change the answer. |
| Identity Property of Addition | The sum of an addend & 0 I'd the same as the addend. |
| Identity Property of Multiplacation | the product of any factor & 1 I'd the same as the factor. |
| Additive Inverse Property | Adding a number and it's opposite will produce a sum of zero. |
| Multiplicative Inverse Property | Multiplying any number and its inverse ( reciprocal) equals one. |
| Associative Property | (x+7)+9 = x+(7+9) |
| Associative Property | 4(3 x 9 = (4 x 3)9 |
| Commutative Property | (x + 7) + 9 = 9 + (7 + x) |
| Commutative Property | 5 x 6 = 5 x 6 |
