Argument/claim terms

TermDefinition
Ethos emphasizes the speakers credibility and authority
logos appeals to the audience's logic or reasoning.
pathos Appeals to the audience's emotions.
claim authors main point
credibility the author is able to be beloved and trusted
argument when the author wants to convince you
evidence what the author uses to support their claim
counterclaim the opposite view point of the authors argument
