argument and claim

QuestionAnswer
Ethos ( credibility) or ethical appeal
pathos (emotion) appeals to audience emotions.
Logos (reasoning) appeals to the audience logic or reasons
claim the authors is able to be believed
credibility the author is able to be believed and trusted
reliable evidence information or data that is trustworthy.
rebuttal when the author responses to the counter claim
counterclaim the opposite view point of the authors claim.
evidence what the author uses to support their claim
argument when the author wants to convince you of their position
