Argument and claim important terms

coefficient the number part of the term with variables.
Term is either a single number or variable, or numbers and variables multiplied together.Terms are usually separated by addition and subtraction signs.

Associative property the way in which numbers are Grouped when added or multiplied does not change the answer.
commutative property The order in which numbers are added or multiplied does not change the answer.
Identity property of addition the sum of an addend and 0 is the same thing as the addend.
Identity property of multiplication the product of any factor and 1 is the same as the factor.
Additive inverse property adding a number and its oppasite will produce a sum of zero
Multiplicative inverse property multiplying any number and it's inverse (reciprocal) equals one
Associative property (x+7)+9=x+(7+9)
Associative property 4(3x9)=9(4x3)9
communicative property (x+7)+9=9+(7+x)
Communicative property 5x6=6x5
Identity property of addition x+0 =x
Identity Property of Multiplication 6(1) = 6
multiplicative inverse property 4x1/4=1
additive inverse property -5+5=0
