What is an "algebra expression?" Algebra expressions have at least one variable and one operation EX: a+2
What is a "variable?" A letter that represents an unknown value which is any letter EX: x,y,z
what does "constant" mean? A term without a variable EX: "8"+y
what does "coefficient" mean? The number part of the term with variables EX: "7"a+4
What is a "term" "4a"+"2y"+ -3 = 3 terms
What are "like terms?" Two or more terms with the same value EX: 7x+8x+10
what does "sum" mean? sum is an answer to an addition problem
what does "difference" mean? difference is the answer to a subtraction problem
what does "product" mean ? products is the answer to a multiplication prolem
what does "quotient" mean? quotient is the answer to a division problem
