like terms two or more like terms with the same variable or exponent are called like terms 7x+8x+ 10 (7x and 8x are alike)
sum the answer to an addition problem 9+10= 19. 19 is the sum
difference the answer to a subtraction problem 9-10= 1. 1 is the difference
product the answer to a multiplication problem 9 x 10 = 90. 90 is the producy
quotient the answer to a division problem 90 divided by 10= 9. 9 is the quotient
