What is the government? The system of a group of people governing and organized community. Usually a state that creates an enforces laws provide provide public services
What does the government expect of citizens To be law, bidding pay taxes, serve on juries and support the nation, but also to actively participate in democracy by staying informed voting
What is the legislative branch responsible for? What does the branch do? Making laws controlling federal spending declaring war regulating commerce and oversee the other branches
What is a bicameral legislature A government with two separate chambers or houses like the US Congress house and senate
What is a unicameral legislature A government with only one chamber or a house, responsible of making laws
What is executive branch responsible for? What does this branch do? It interprets laws applies them to individuals cases and decides if laws violate the consitution ensuring justice by sending legal determinants, protect protecting rights
What is autocracy A form of government where the ruler has absolute or total power to do whatever the ruler wishes
What is democracy? Citizens have the power in choosing their leaders
List the ways, the presidential democracy, and parliamentary democracy are similar Both our systems of representative government that rely on the election of representatives by citizens to make government decisions

Who is head of government Germany? How does he or she get their job? The chancellor is head of government that person gets their job from the majority party in the Bundestag
What type of government does Russia have? Federal semi presidential republic
Who is head of government in Russia how does he or she get their job? The Prime Minister’s head of government they get their job from the Saint Duma, elected by the people the president chooses
