dar igual to not matter Me da igual si vamos hoy o mañana. It doesn’t matter to me if we go today or tomorrow.
dar la cara to face up to something El jefe dio la cara por su equipo. The boss stood up for his team.
dar por hecho to take for granted Dio por hecho que todos estaban de acuerdo. He took it for granted that everyone agreed.
dar vueltas to go around in circles Le doy vueltas al problema toda la noche. I go around the problem all night.
