Explain briefly Mendel's experiment Mendel performed hybridizations on pea-plants. Po - plants were first generation. Learned about dominant and recessive traits. F1 were all violet, F2 - 3/4 violet, 1/4 white
What does incomplete dominance mean? when having both dominant and recessive traits lead to an intermediate phenotype, displaying a combination of the two
What does co-dominance mean? both alleles are simultaneously expressed, like blood groups
What is epistasis? one gene makes/interferes witht he expression of another
