Additional Liability Insurance Extending coverage beyond the named insured to include other individuals or groups not originally named in the policy.
American Automobile Association Auto Insurance company
Amtrak a federal passenger railway service in the US, operated by the National Railroad Passenger Corporation.
Boarding Pass a pass for boarding an aircraft, given to passengers when checking in.
Bumped when an airline over books a flight
Business Class a class of seating on an aircraft that is superior to economy class but less expensive than first class
Charter the reservation of an aircraft, boat, or bus for private use
Collision Damage Waiver a type of insurance that covers a costumer from the cost of damage or theft of a rental vehicle
Connecting Flight when a passenger gets off one airplane to get on another
Direct Flight a single flight number that includes one or more stops along the way
Economy Class the baseline class you can sit on in an airplane
Excess Baggage Charge luggage weighing more than the limit allowed on an aircraft and liable to an extra charge.
Federal Aviation Administration responsible for regulating and overseeing all aspects of civil aviation in the United States.
First Class the best and most expensive accommodation
Motorcoach a self-propelled railway passenger carriage
Nonstop Flight a single flight that takes off and lands once
One-Way Trip When you only book transportation to your destination and not back
Open-Jaw Trip refers to an airline ticket where the outbound flight lands at one airport while the return flight departs from another.
Overbook accept more people than the transportation can hold
Round-Trip When you book transportation to and back from the destination
Standby when something is put on hold
Tourist Destination denoting a place that people will make a special trip to visit
Transportation Security administration responsible for ensuring the security of the traveling public in the United States.
