Ever changing Moon

Lunar cycle the four week period during which the Moon orbits one time and goes through all of its phases

seasons caused by the way the sunlight hits the Earth according to the Earth's axis
Maria (plural) large dark gray areas that are smooth on the surface of the Moon
Lunar eclipse an eclipse in which the moon appears darkened as it passes into earth's shadow
Shadow a dark area produced by an object takes around another object coming between light and a surface
Orbit a regular, repeating path that one objects takes around another or center of gravity
Axis an invisible line going North/South through the Earth.
