Rasping (verb): scraping or grating with a rough tool (often making a grating sound)

Wheedle (verb) to persuade with flattery.
Nurturer (noun) one who takes care of, feeds

Transgression (noun) act or instance of breaking the law
Apprehensive (adjective) Anxious or fearful that something bad or unpleasant might happen
