Cerebrum largest part of the brain, responsible for memory
Cerebellum coordinates balance
Brain Stem controls breathing, heart rate, spinal cord
Pons regulates Cerebrum and Cerebellum
Medulla Oblongata lowest part of the brain stem
Parietal Lobe processes pain and temperature.
Occipital Lobe responsible for vision
Frontal Lobe helps personality and planning
Temporal Lobe handles hearing.
Motor Cortex controls muscle movements
Sensory Cortex processes sensory
Corpus Callosum bundle of nerve fibers connecting right to left
Pituitary Gland controls hormones and reproduction, also growth
Thalamus controls alertness
Hypothalamus maintains homeostasis
Hippocampus spatial navigation
