Image of Sample A and B. Sample A is a lighter color and Sample B is a darker color. Which sample has more kinetic energy? How do you know? Sample A, the lighter color shows that the sample is moving/has more Kinetic energy than Sample B.
Image of Sample A and B. Sample A is a lighter color and Sample B is a darker color. Which sample is moving faster? How do you know? Sample A, the lighter color shows that the sample is moving/has more Kinetic energy than Sample B.
Image of Sample A and B. Sample A is a lighter color and Sample B is a darker color. Which sample is colder? How do you know? Sample B, it has less movement and a higher temperature means that the molecules would have to be moving faster.
What is temperature related to? Movement speed of molecules.
What is absolute zero? When molecules in a substance completely stop moving.
Can absolute zero be reached according to the article? YES but it has NOT been reached.
Where are the coldest temperatures measured? In Space.
What is an average? A number that summarized a set of data and that can be computed by adding numbers in a list then dividing by the numbers in the list.
Calculate the average speed of the following set of Molecules. NUMBERS: 9 5 7 3 1 Average: 5
