Periotome Cuts periodontal ligaments.
Orban knife Removes tissue from interdental areas.
Kirkland knife Interdental cutting of the gingiva, removes tissues.
Gracey curette Only 1 cutting edge, designed to adapt to specific tooth surfaces.
Periodontal probe Measures the pocket depth of the periodontum.
Ultrasonic scaler tip Removes super and subgingival calculus, and removes plaque from periodontal pockets.
Locally delivered antibiotics Apply antibiotics directly into periodontal pockets.
Sickle scaler Removes large deposits of supragingival calculus.
File stand Holds files and reamers.
Gutta-Percha Fills pulp chamber after canal prep
Paper points Used to dry pulp chambers of the canal
Endodontic spoon excavator Removes coronal pulp tissue, decay, and temporary cements
Endodontic stoppers Placed on the instrument (file) to determine the length of the canal.
Irrigating Syringe Dispense solution into the canal for cleansing.
Endo Millimeter ruler Measures files, reamers, and other.
Reamer Cut and smooth dentinal walls, enlarge inner walls of the canal.
Endodontic explorer Locate the opening of the canal orifices.
Endo file K type Clean inside walls of canal, contour inner walls.
Endo spreader and plugger Condenses gutta-percha laterally in the canal.
Glick Condense gutta-percha into the prepared tooth.
Tooth slooth Helps identify a crack.
Hedstrom Clean inside walls of canal, enlarge and smooth.
Broach Remove pulp tissue from canals.
Gates glidden bur Enlarge walls of pulp chamber.
Lentulo spiral Used to place endodontic sealer or cement in canal.
Peso file Prepare canal for endodontic post.
