Agenda Setting Meaning they have the power to decide which issues are important enough for public attention
Modern Campaigns Candidates Use Political Consultants, Campaign Finance and Social Media to Seek Data and Target Demographic Groups
Microtargeting Using data analytics and consumer profiling to identify and target specific groups of voters with tailored messages during political campaigns.
Confirmation Bias Look for news and information that supports your beliefs without looking for alternate perspectives on issues.
Partisan News/ Ideologically Oriented Programming News that favors a specific political viewpoint (liberal or conservative), shaping coverage & story selection... leading to echo chambers.
