TermDefinition
Rational number A number that can be expressed as a fraction.
Fraction A number that names equal parts of a whole; names a point on the number line and can also represent the division of two numbers.
Opposite number Numbers that are the same distance from 0 but in opposite directions.
Product The result of multiplication.
Quotient The result of division.
Reciprocal For any fraction a/b, b/a.
Calculation a process or result of finding a value using mathematics.
