What is the main job of the endocrine system? To release hormones that control body processes like growth, metabolism, and stress.
Which gland is known as the “master gland”? The pituitary gland.
What is the main function of the heart? To pump blood throughout the body, delivering oxygen and nutrients.
What part of the blood carries oxygen Red blood cells.
. What is the main job of the lymphatic system? To return extra fluid to the bloodstream and help fight infections.
What type of cells help your immune system attack germs? White blood cells.
Where does most digestion and absorption of nutrients happen? In the small intestine.
How do the lungs help control acid–base balance? By removing carbon dioxide when we breathe out, which lowers acid levels in the blood.
