mast cells Found in loose fibrous connective tissue, are capable of releasing a variety of molecules such as histamine, heparin, sulfate, leukotrienes, and prostaglandins.
eleidin Dying cells are filled with this substance, which will eventually be transformed into keratin.
chondroitin sulfate Is the name of a chemical substance that many people recognize as components of over the counter dietary supplements.
syndesmoses Joints in which fibrous bands (ligaments) connect two bones
Interphalangeal joints Are typical hinge-type synovial joints capable of flexion and extension.
