Protein Hormones non steroid hormones in the body
Three main elements in the body Red blood cells (Erythrocytes), White Blood Cells (Leukocytes), Agranulocytes( do not have granules in cytoplasm), Platelets
Plasma part of the blood which clear white colored fluid on top of the blood and separates from the blood.
Platelets form blood clots in the body when blood is leaking
Blood Volume Woman contain about 4-5 liters of blood in the body, Male contain 5-6 liters.
Arteries take the blood away from the heart.
Veins carry blood to the heart
Deoxygenation blood blood goes to the lungs deoxygenated and when leaving the lungs the blood becomes oxygenated.
External Respiration Oxygen enters the small air sacs and carbon dioxide leaves the lungs.
Inspiration the diaphragm is contracted because an individual is breathing in.
