Natural selection Variations in population increase some individuals likelihood of surviving and reproducing in a changing environment.
Speciation Separated populations that remain seperated can evolve through mutations to become a new species.
Homologous structure Same structure and different function.(evidence of a common ancestor)
Analogous structure Different structure same function.
Embryology structure Embryos of different structures to see if a common ancestor is shared
Vestigial structure Structures that have no function but believed to gave a function a long time ago.
