| Cervix | The lower, narrow part of the uterus that opens into the vagina; it acts as a passageway for menstrual flow, sperm, and childbirth. |
| Vagina | A muscular canal extending from the cervix to the outside of the body; serves as the birth canal and the passage for menstrual flow. |
