Pollution Harmful things in the air, water, or land that make the environment dirty or unsafe.
Deforestation When large areas of trees are cut down, usually to make space for farms, buildings, or roads.
Droughts Long periods of time with little or no rain.
Disaster A sudden event that causes a lot of damage or harm.
Environment The natural world around us, including plants, animals, land, and water.
Adequate Good enough or enough of something to meet a need.
Emulate To try to be like someone you admire.
Pertinent Related to the subject or important to what is being discussed.
Prodigy A young person who is extremely talented at something.
Flabbergasted Very surprised or shocked.
