| monomial | a number, variable, or product of a number and one or more variables. |
| negative exponent | The result of repeated division used to represent very small numbers. |
| Product of Powers property | a property that states to multiply |
| power | a product of repeated factors using an exponent and a base. The power 73 is read seven to the third or 7 cubed. |
