QuestionAnswer
What is an action potential? The membrane potential of an active neuron.
What is a synapse? The place where signals are transmitted from one neuron to another.
What are the two types of synapses? Electrical and Chemical.
What does cerebrospinal fluid protect? Your brain and spinal cord.
What are the six major divisions of the brain? medulla oblongata, pons, midbrain, cerebellum, diencephalon, and cerebrum.
Where is your cervical plexus? Deep inside your neck.
Where is the brachial plexus? Deep inside your shoulder.
What does the autonomic nervous system control? involuntary effectors.
What is olfaction? Sense of smell.
What does positive feedback do? It amplifies the change that happened.
