light definitions

TermDefinition
opaque a substance that obsorbs light rays and dosent let them pass through.
luminous Luminous light describes something emitting, reflecting, or full of steady, glowing light, like stars or bioluminescence
non luminous Ray diagrams and transmission of light guide for KS3 physics ...A non-luminous object does not emit its own light; it is visible because it reflects light from a luminous source, like the sun or a light bulb.
light transmission Transmission is the process of light passing through a medium.
transparent Materials that allow the transmission of light waves through them are called optically transparent.
