Tough Questions, Again and Again, Reciprocal Teaching

TermDefinition
Tough Question When a character asks themselves a very difficult question. *Does not always have a question mark.
Again and Again When a word, phrase, or situation is mentioned over and over. They are events, images, or particular words that recur throughout the text.
Summarizer Summarizes the story. The job is to make a "long story, short" Shares key ideas, events, and information from the text.
Clarifier Shares confusing ideas, pictures, and words in the text. Uses fix up strategies to try to understand what was confusing in the text, such as: reread the text, look for word parts or morphemes you know, etc.
Predictor Predicts what is going to happen next in the story.
Questioner Asks questions about the text to find out who is listening and comprehending the story.
