Catabolism Breaking down nutrients to release energy.
Secretion Extra waste is moved from blood into forming urine.
Antidiuretic Hormone (ADH) Hormone that helps the body hold on to water.
Negative Feedback Body’s way to correct a change and bring levels back to normal.
Ovulation When an ovary releases an egg.
Deglutition Swallowing food or liquid.
Renal Medulla Inner part of the kidney where urine is concentrated.
Renal Pelvis Inner space of kidney that collects urine before it goes to bladder.
Micturition Medical term for urination.
Mastication Chewing food to make it easier to swallow and digest.
