Postanowiła złożyć podanie o pracę w domu opieki. She decided to apply for a job at a care home.
Ona chce popracować trzy miesiące, nie więcej. She wants to work three months, no more.
Nigdy wcześnie nie pisała życiorysu, ale to nie było trudne. She has never written a resume before but it wasn't difficult.
Imię, nazwisko, data urodzenia- to wszystko. Name, surname, date of birth- that's all.
Nigdy też wcześniej nie pracowała, więc połowa życiorysu była pusta. She has never work before, so half of the resume was empty.

Biała koszula, czarna spódnica, buty na obcasach są nie dla niej. A white shirt, black skirt and high heels are not her cup of tea.

Ona chce pokazać, jaka jest - wyluzowana, młoda i pewna siebie. She wants to show what she is like- relaxed, young and confident.
Zdecydowała, że zabierze deskorolkę i odtwarzacz MP3. She decided to bring her skateboard and a MP3 player.
Szybko dokończyła życiorys. She quickly finished her resume.
Zdecydowała ubrać tenisówki i bluzę z kapturem. She decided to wear trainers and a hoodie.
Nie wyglądała profesjonalnie, ale niestety tego nie rozumie. She doesn't look professional but unfortunately she doesn't understand that.
Lało jak z cebra. It was chucking it down.
Jej CV było mokre i potargane a buty brudne i rozwiązane. Her resume was wet and torn and her shoes were dirty and untied.
Rozmowa o pracę była bardzo łatwa. The job interview was very easy.
Pięć minut, to wszystko. Five minutes, that's all.
Ktoś zapytał ją o imię i nazwisko, adres i doświadczenie zawodowe. Someone asked for her name , surname, address, and her work experience.
Nikt nie zapytał o tatuaż i deskorolkę. No one asked about her tattoo and skateboard.
Nikt nie chciał jej CV. No one wanted her CV.
Ktoś zapytał, dlaczego chce pracować w domu opieki. Someone asked why she wants to work in a care home.
Powiedziała prawdę. She told the truth.
Jest przekonana, że dostała tę pracę, bo poszło jej fantastycznie. She is sure that she got the job because she did her best/ smashed it.
