QuestionAnswer
Distributed property Multiplying each term in a sum or difference by a common factor does not change the value of the expression; a (b+c)=ab+ac
Equation A mathematical statement that uses an = to show that to expressions have the same value
Expression A group of numbers, variables, and or operation symbols that represent a mathematical relationship
Opposite numbers Numbers that are the same distance from zero on a number line, but an opposite direction
Product Results of multiplication
Justify To explain why something is correct or incorrect by giving logical reason
