Hemophilia Genetic disorder that prevents normal blood clotting
Multiple myeloma Cancer of plasma cells in the bone marrow
Aneurysm Balloon-like bulge in a weakened blood vessel
Arteriosclerosis Hardening and thickening of arteries
Atherosclerosis Fatty plaque buildup in arteries
Embolus Traveling clot or material that blocks a blood vessel
Thrombus Blood clot attached to a vessel wall
Thrombophlebitis Inflamed vein caused by a blood clot

Heart murmur Abnormal heart sound from turbulent blood flow
Myocardial infarction (MI) Heart attack caused by a blocked artery
Myocarditis Inflammation of heart muscle
Pericarditis Inflammation of the sac around the heart
Cardiac tamponade Fluid buildup around the heart causing pressure
Congestive heart failure (CHF) Heart cannot pump blood effectively
Coronary artery disease (CAD) Narrowed arteries supplying the heart
Hypertension High blood pressure
Hypotension Low blood pressure
Cyanosis Bluish skin due to lack of oxygen
Edematous Swollen due to fluid buildup
Shock Life-threatening lack of blood flow and oxygen to the body
