How can we read the book with a feminist lens? An example in the family of little feet shows how being a woman living in a certain culture can make it so that you're oversexualized. I know this because Esperanza got assaulted for wearing heels that were made for more grown up women.

What is an example of stylized diolauge? For example, not using quotation marks
What is repitition? Its when you repeat something.
What is a metaphor? Comparing two different things without saying like or as
What is feminist theory? Looking at gender dynamics within a text
What is Chicana theory? Looking specifically at Mexican American culture and the issues that can be presented because of that identity.
What is personification? Personification is a figure of speech where you give human qualities or actions to something that is not human.
