Major organelle 2: Cell membrane and Types of cells that have this organelle: Cell membrane-allows things in and out of the cell- All cells have this!
Major organelle 3: Nucleus and Types of cells that have this organelle: Nucleus- All except bacteria-holds the DNA!
Major organelle 4: Mitochondria and Types of cells that have this organelle: Mitochondria- Mighty mitochondria energy producers for the cell-powerhouse of the cell. All except bacteria have this!
Major organelle 5: Ribosomes and Types of cells that have this organelle: Ribosomes-Protein makers and all cells have them
Major organelle 6: Cytoplasm and Types of cells that have this organelle: Cytoplasm- Jelly-like stuff holding all the organelles in place. all have this
Major organelle 7: Vacuole and Types of cells that have this organelle: Vacuole- storage for water and other chemicals - all except bacteria have this.
Not all cells have the same organelles it depends on what they: NEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Examples: Plants have chloroplasts that allow them to collect light energy for food-Animals do not have chloroplasts, they go and find their food from another source Plants and fungi cannot find shelter-need extra support/structure-need a cell wall.
