What hormone increases water reabsorption in the kidneys? Antidiuretic hormone (ADH).
Where does gas exchange occur in the respiratory system? : In the alveoli of the lungs.
What is the function of the epiglottis? : It prevents food from entering the trachea during swallowing.
Which digestive organ is responsible for most nutrient absorption? The small intestine.
What hormone is produced by the pancreas to lower blood glucose levels? Insulin
What is the function of lymph nodes? To filter lymph and house immune cells that attack pathogens.
Which blood vessels carry oxygenated blood away from the heart? Arteries.
What structure stores sperm while they mature? The epididymis.
What is the function of bile? To emulsify fats in the small intestine for easier digestion.
