| Lacteals | Lymphatic capillaries in the villi of the small intestine |
| Lymphokinetic actions | Activities that result in central movement or flow of lymph |
| Lymphangiography | A method of visualizing lymphatic vessels |
| Lymph nodes | oval or bean shaped structures enclosed by a fibrous capsule |
| Mastitis | breast infections |
| Sentinel lymph node | the first lymph node to which a cancerous tumor can spread |
