QuestionAnswer
What is the main job of the lymphatic system? Protects the body from germs and keeps body fluids balanced.
What is the Lymphatic System? A system of vessels and nodes that fights infection and removes waste.
What is the Respiratory System? The system that brings oxygen into the body and removes carbon dioxide.
What do hormones do? They regulate growth, mood, metabolism, and body functions.
What is the Endocrine System? A system of glands that releases hormones into the blood.
What does the PNS do? Carries messages between the CNS and the rest of the body.
What is the PNS? Peripheral Nervous System = all nerves outside the brain and spinal cord.
What does the CNS do? Processes information and sends out instructions.
What is the CNS? Central Nervous System = brain + spinal cord.
What is the Nervous System? Controls and coordinates all body activities and responses.
