subarachnoid space the vital layer that is in between the arachnoid and pia meter membranes which encases the brain and spinal cord which is contained of cerebrospinal fluid
hemodynamics collection of mechanisms that influence the circulation of blood
cardiac inhibition reduction of cardiac activity, can be considered a natural process or due to the results of medication
valves mechanical devices that permit the flow of blood in one direction only
ECG (electrocardiogram) non-invasive test that is recording the heart's electrical activity
tunica adventitia outermost layer of the the larger blood vessels
pericardium known as the heart's special covering, which is a loose-fitting inextensible sac surrounds the heart and protects it
