Q: What does the right side of the heart do? A: Sends low-oxygen blood to the lungs.
Q: What does the left side of the heart do? A: Pumps oxygen-rich blood to the whole body.
Q: What is the pulmonary circuit? A: Blood goes from the heart to the lungs and back.
Q: What is the systemic circuit? A: Blood goes from the heart to the body and back.
Q: What is plasma mostly made of? A: Water.
Q: What carries oxygen in red blood cells? Hemoglobin
Q: What do white blood cells do? A: Fight infection.
Q: What do platelets help with? A: Blood clotting.
Q: What decides your ABO blood type? A: Antigens on red blood cells.
Q: Where is the heart located? A: In the chest, a little to the left.
