Generealized anxiety disorder Excessive worry that lasts for months, occurring more days than not for at least 6 months

Benzodiazepines do what? Promote GABA activity and can cause paradoxical reactions
Non benzodiazepine agonist receptors characteristics Z hypnotics, have less tolerance/dependence, and selectivity for GABA receptors.
What is the first line for anxiety? Busiprone, not for acute anxiety, can not take grape fruit juice with this medication.
How many weeks does it take for onset of effects from anxiety medication? 4-6 weeks.
