dendrites recieve incoming signals (carry towards cell body)
synapse junction between neuron where chemical signal crass
cerebram function: controls higher functions thought memory, movement, and sensation surface: contrains gyrin (ridges and sulci (grooves)
limbic controls emotions and memory
pituitary gland controls other glands anterior lobe: releases GH, TSH, ACTH, LH/FSH posterior lobe: stores and releases ADH, Oxytocin
monocytes WBC produced by lymph nodes that can become macrophages
