What is TPACK? The full model that shows how we blend technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge to create strong, meaningful instruction.
What does Content Knowledge mean? What the teacher knows about the actual subject — like math, reading, science, or social studies.
What is Pedagogical Knowledge? How the teacher teaches — strategies, classroom management, modeling, small groups, and understanding how kids learn
What is Technological Knowledge? The teacher’s knowledge of digital tools — apps, programs, devices, and how to use them for learning.
Where’s the “magic spot” in TPACK? The center of the model where tech, teaching strategies, and content blend together for strong instruction.
Effective Tech Integration Technology that enhances learning — not just adding a gadget to look busy.
What does TPACK look like in real life? A teacher using an interactive reading app (tech), guided reading strategies (pedagogy), to teach sight words (content).
Misconception About TPACK It doesn’t mean using technology all day, it means using it when it fits the lesson.
Student Engagement with TPACK It lets students learn through hands-on tech, exploration, and creativity,which builds excitement and understanding.
What is TPK? Technological Pedagogical Knowledge-Using technology to support teaching strategies
Explain TCK. Technological Content Knowledge Choosing the right technology to help students understand content (like using virtual manipulatives in math).
What does PCK mean? Pedagogical Content Knowledge -Knowing how to teach a specific subject well. Example: teaching phonics using blending routines.
