TermDefinition
City-State a self-governing city and the surrounding territory that it controls.
Monarchy a form of government where a single person, known as a monarch, rules a country or nation.
Oligarchy a form of government in which a small group of people hold most or all political power.
Tyranny a single person or small group of people have power over everyone else in a cruel, harsh, and unfair way.
