| insubordinate | defiant of authority; disobedient to orders. |

| conviction | a formal judgment of guilt in a court of law, or a strong, firmly held belief |
| dreary | dull, boring, or causing sadness |
| inevitable | certain to happen and impossible to avoid or prevent. |
| unfaze/unfazed | not disconcerted or perturbed. |
| vigorous/vigorously | in a way that involves physical strength, effort, or energy; strenuously. |
| encounter | a meeting or experience, often one that is unexpected or unplanned |
| remediation | the act or process of correcting a problem or fixing something that is wrong or defective |
| adequate | having as much or as good as is necessary for a specific requirement or purpose |
