| Tetraplegia | Caused by a spinal cord at level T1 |
| Concussion | Temporary change in mental status caused by head trauma |
| Cerebral contusion | bruise on the brain that occur when the brain tissue hits the skull |
| Paraplegia | Caused by a spinal cord injury below the levlel T1 |
| Epidural Hematoma | blood collects between skull and dura mater |
| Subdural hematoma | Blood collects between the dura mater and the arachnoid mater |
| Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI, Head Injury) | injury that affects the normal brain function |
| Intracranial Pressure (ICP) | Pressure in the space between skull and brain. |
| Dysphagia | difficulty swallowing |
