Why were the Articles of Confederation too weak? Because the federal government could not enforce laws, collect taxes, or regulate trade.
How does federalism keep government power limited? It divides power between the national and state governments, preventing either from becoming too powerful.
What did Antifederalists want to add to protect people’s rights? A Bill of Rights.
What did Shays’ Rebellion reveal about the Articles of Confederation? It showed that the government had no army to stop uprisings or enforce laws.
