inner core middle layer of the earth made up of nickel and iron
outer core layer near the middle made up of liquid iron and nickel
mantle thickest layer of the earth made up of molten rock
crust thin outer shell of the earth
tectonic plates large pieces rock that make up earth's crust
boundary where two tectonic plates meet
magma molten rock inside the earth
lava molten rock that has come out of a volcano
ring of fire area around the Pacific Ocean where many volcanos are located
convergent boundary where two tectonic plates come together
subduction zone place where an oceanic plate meets and goes under another plate
divergent boundary where two tectonic plates pull apart
transform boundary where two tectonic plates slide beside each other
