Endemic Disease occurs at a steady, expected rate.
Sporadic Disease occurs irregularly and infrequently.
Epidemic Sudden increase in cases above normal levels.
Pandemic Epidemic that spreads across continents.
Common-source epidemic Many infected from a single source.
Propagated epidemic Disease spread person to person.
Point-source epidemic Everyone exposed at the same time.
