Where the Mountain Meets the Moon

What is the meaning of the word sparingly? a small amount of something (water)
Why was the water where Minli found Dragon salty? It was a pool of tears created from the dragon crying.
What problem has presented itself on Minli and the dragon’s journey to find the “Old Man in the Moon?” They cannot enter the forest because the monkeys won't let them pass and are being greedy.
Which element of a quest is shown when Minli and dragon are faced with the monkey situation? challenge
What theme does Minli’s quest and the actions that Minli takes on the quest reveal? teamwork, perseverance, and thankfulness

How is Minli’s journey a quest? Minli was seeking a fortune for her family. She had to overcome many obstacles to solve or resolve a problem. Her journey had supernatural elements like the dragon.
