terminating decimal a decimal that ends

like terms terms of an algebraic expression that have the same variables raised to the same exponents
simplest form an algebraic expression that has no like terms and no parenthesis
linear expression an algebraic expression in which the exponent of the variable is 1
equivalent equations equations that have the same solutions
inequality a mathematical sentence that compares expressions
solution of an inequality a value that makes an inequality true
solution set the set of all solutions of an equality
graph of an inequality a graph that shows all the solutions of an inequality on a number line
